We have no dance experience—can you still help us?
Absolutely! Most of our couples are complete beginners. It's the reason we start our pricing packs at 4 lessons.
Learning how to dance is like learning a new language, it can be slightly overwhelming at first, especially if you try learn too much at once! We will ALWAYS start by teaching you the basics and build from there!
What styles of dance do you teach?
We teach a wide range of styles including:
Ballroom styles (including Waltz, Viennese Walts, Foxtrot and Tango), Latin styles (including Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha and Rumba), and Swing Dance and Disco styles (East Coast, Rock & Roll, and Hustle).
We also teach popular Wedding Styles such as Foxy (derived from Foxtrot), and Night Club 2 Step.
Elayna also has a backgorund in commercial styles of dance (eg. Commercial Jazz, Hiphop, Ballet and Contemporary) so there are no limits to requests when it comes to Choreography!
How many lessons will we actually need to feel ready?
This depends on how complex you want your dance to be!
Most of our couples choose 8 lessons, as it’s the "sweet spot" for mastering choreography while feeling totally at ease on the dance floor.
If you're looking for a quick "crash course" in the basics, our 4-pack is a great fit. If you're dreaming of a more intricate, show-stopping performance, our 12-pack will ensure every detail is perfect!

What is a Complimentary Consultation?
A Complimentary Consulation is a chance for us to get to know eachother, at no expense! We talk about the wedding, your vision for the first dance, your choice of song (or help you find one!), and anything else that you think we need to know about you as a couple. From there, we can narrow down the dance styles that will work for you and we get up and have a boogie!
